The records of Delta Zeta Sorority consist of materials from 1919 to 1984. The records document the activities of the active chapter and the alumnae chapter and are arranged chronologically for each group. These include 24 scrapbooks, 1931-1982; annual reports, 1963-1975; listings of Delta Zeta officers and members; executive minutes, January 1970-September 1972; minutes of the active chapter, September 1954-May 1983; Delta Zeta Alumnae minutes, September 1946-February 1972; and alumnae newsletters, "Upsilon-Up-To-Date", volumes I-IV, 1920-1924. Income and Expense summary sheets for the active chapter, December 1973-November 1975, are filed in the oversized box.

Upsilon Chapter of Delta Zeta sorority was established December 21, 1916, with a membership of 11 girls. In March 1919 the Chapter became part of Delta Zeta National Sorority, with headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. From 1920 to 1922 the Chapter's home was at 3000 University Avenue, then at 315 Hamline Street. The fall of 1926, the Chapter moved to 2724 University Avenue.
